It delivers a power-to-weight ratio exceeding 5.1 kW\/kg and 20.5 Nm\/kg at 360 VdC, ensuring smooth, quiet, and highly efficient operation, even in compact installations.<\/p>\n\n<p><em>\"We are delighted to partner with FNM \u2013 said Michael Hart, Business Development Manager at Turntide Technologies - on this project. The collaboration shows one of the many ways that axial flux motors can power anything that moves, and we are proud to see the new Turntide next-generation axial flux motor succeed on the FNM42HPE hybrid engine.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Key features of the new FNM42HPE with BHS 120kW\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li>Peak power up to 310 kW (421 HP) in electric mode\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Low noise and zero emissions in electric mode\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reduced fuel consumption and emissions at equal cruising speeds in hybrid mode\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Triple propulsion mode: thermal, electric, and hybrid\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>FNM Hybrid selected the Turntide AF430S for its high performance in limited spaces, low torque ripple, and compatibility with voltages up to 850 VdC \u2013 key features for high-performance marine applications.<\/p>\n\n<p><em>\u201cThe partnership with Turntide Technologies team \u2013 said Giorgio Negri, Sales Manager\u2013 is a prime example of how shared know-how and vision can translate into a tangible achievement in innovation and sustainability, marking an important step forward in the future of hybrid marine propulsion.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>The BHS (Blue Hybrid System)\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>The BHS (Blue Hybrid System) is a fully integrated marine hybrid system entirely designed and developed by <strong>CMD <\/strong>enabling three propulsion modes \u2013 endothermic, electric, and <strong>hybrid \u2013 all managed by a single control system.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>&#13;\n&#13;\nIts main components include the electric motor, control electronics, and battery pack, allowing for zero-emission navigation at low speeds and maximum efficiency in endothermic mode, with automatic battery recharging during operation.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<p>The FNM Hybrid engines with BHS system meet the growing demand for quiet, low-impact, and low-wave motion, thanks to the electric motor\u2019s ability to operate at lower RPMs than conventional endothermic engines. An ideal solution for protected marine areas, lagoons, and European inland waterways.<\/p>\n\n<p>CMD also offers custom-engineered solutions for any engine type, optimizing both hardware and software according to application requirements.
