CMD Electronic Dpt. presents the innovative FADEC system (Full Authority Digital Engine Control) for general aviation: it will be shown at the Embedded World in Nuremberg from 25 to 27 February

25 Feb 2020

New projects take shape in CMD.

The Electronic Dpt, after long time of research and design, presents the innovative FADEC system (Full Authority Digital Engine Control) for the GF56, 2-stroke common-rail direct injection diesel engine.

The FADEC has been designed for the control of common-rail engines certified according to EASA CSE, 2 and 4-stroke, installed on general civil aviation aircraft conforming to EASA CS-23/FAR-23, EASA CS-27 and EASA CS-29. The FADEC has been developed according to RTCAD DO-178C, DO-254 and RTCA DO-160G standards.

This new system will be shown for the first time, from 25 to 27 February 2020, at the EMBEDDED WORLD in Nuremberg, Germany, where all visitators can try it through a "test".

For the event CMD in fact has created a simulation system (cockpit + simulator) that will allow to test the entire operation: a great novelty that strikes the visitor who will be able to touch the high technology of the project.
